Software that ships. Products that earn.

We build subscription SaaS, B2B operations platforms, and audio software — the same kinds of systems we run as businesses ourselves. Not prototypes. The thing that takes payments on day one.

Work

Eight systems across SaaS, B2B operations, data infrastructure and audio software. Most of them are ours — which is why we know what happens after launch.

Era EQ — the sound of a decade, in one switch

A character EQ that models the musical curves, saturation, and patina of three classic studio eras behind a single hero control — wrapped in a modern, live-analyzer interface. Real-time C++ DSP, custom-drawn UI, VST3/AU on macOS and Windows.

The demo below is live. It runs the same biquad filter math the plugin uses — switch eras and watch the curve and spectrum re-shape in real time.

Trade Desk Ultimate · live product

A subscription SaaS with paying customers

Designed, built, launched, and operated end-to-end by this studio. Trade Desk Ultimate delivers real-time dashboards and workflow tooling to subscribers on a recurring plan.

We own the full stack: product design, front-end, backend, Stripe subscription billing, tax-compliance configuration, and day-to-day operations. It‘s the difference between a portfolio piece and a business — we run this one every morning.

Futurovend · platform in development

Unattended retail, operator-side

A multi-surface B2B operations platform for the vending industry: operator portals for fleet and inventory management, machine-side software, ordering workflows, and a multi-jurisdictional advertising layer.

In active development ahead of a supply-chain expansion into Asian manufacturing partnerships. Built for the least forgiving user there is — a machine in the field that simply has to work.

The rest of the estate — the data infrastructure, autonomous services and client-side surfaces that the headline products are built on.

Futurovend · consumer app

Customer app — iOS & Android

React Native and Expo client for the vending platform: multi-operator loyalty balances, machine locator, purchase history, and account controls with GDPR/CCPA erasure wired in.

Machine-side payment kiosk

Touchscreen checkout running on the machine itself. Talks to an on-device Go agent over a typed WebSocket protocol with a six-state payment machine and reconnect backoff — it has to keep working when the network doesn‘t.

Research infrastructure

Market research pipeline

A scheduled data platform that collects from dozens of market and filings sources, derives daily and weekly research products, and distributes them to licensed desks through entitlement-gated, signed-URL delivery.

Strategy engine fleet

Seven independent strategy services, each with its own risk limits, decision journal and broker integration — supervised by a shared risk manager and an operator kill switch. Every action is logged and reversible.

The Era line

A plugin family sharing one DSP core and one interface language. Era EQ is first — the demo above is its real filter math running in your browser — with further processors following on the same foundation.

Build with us

Fixed scope, fixed price, no hourly meter. Pick a foundation, add what you need, and see the number move — this is the same estimate we‘d send you.

Start smaller

Short, fixed-price engagements — a way to work together before committing to a build. Each one ships in days, not months.

$4502 days

Technical audit & roadmap

We read your codebase and send a written assessment: what‘s fragile, what‘s costing you money, and the order to fix it in.

$6503 days

Bug & performance sprint

A fixed block aimed at your bug list or a slow page. You get the fixes, the reasoning, and the tests that keep them fixed.

$1,4501 week

Stripe billing rescue

Subscriptions wired properly: plans, trials, proration, webhooks, dunning, failed-payment recovery. We run this in our own SaaS.

$9004 days

Ship it — deploy & hardening

Your half-finished project put online properly: deployment, domain, SSL, environment config, error monitoring, backups.

$1,2005 days

Data pipeline or API integration

Connect the systems that don‘t talk: scheduled collectors, third-party APIs, validation, and reporting your team can read.

$2,5002–3 weeks

Audio DSP prototype

Your algorithm or sound idea running as a working VST3/AU plugin you can load in your DAW. The rarest skill on the market.

Or scope the whole build

Bigger engagements price the same way — fixed, in writing, before anyone starts.

Why founders hire us

Most freelancers have built demos. Melloworks operates its own products — a live subscription SaaS, a B2B retail platform, and an audio software imprint.

Every architectural call we make for a client is one we‘ve had to live with ourselves: billing edge cases, churn, uptime, real users at 2am. We build like owners because we are owners.

Melloworks is a DBA of Futurovend LLC, operating across US and Southeast Asian markets.

How an engagement runs

  1. Scope call. 30 minutes, free. We define the smallest version that earns.
  2. Fixed quote. Price and timeline in writing — no hourly meter anxiety.
  3. Build in the open. Weekly demo links, not status reports.
  4. Ship & hand off. Deployed, documented, yours. Retainers available.
